Cassandra | Director/Senior Occupational Therapist

Bachelor of Health Science/Masters of Occupational Therapy

Cassandra is a passionate and motivated therapist who has a strong belief in providing a holistic approach for her participants. Cassandra has a strong background in autism and ADHD, mental health and brain injury and has been working in the disability sector for 10 years. She has had experience in the areas of behavioural therapy including providing both ABA and ESDM therapeutic approaches in paediatric intervention. Cassandra is passionate about working with the individual, their families, teachers and carers to provide maximal benefit to the participant and ensuring those involved in their life are empowered to contribute to their progress. 

Cassandra’s passion and interest in occupational therapy has been derived from having a sibling with a disability and has driven her to pursue a career in supporting others with disabilities. She enjoys working with the individual’s strengths and abilities and making therapy as fun and engaging for her client. She also enjoys sharing fun and creative activities she trials with her children, with parents who need guidance with therapeutic activities outside of therapy sessions.

Gabrielle| Occupational Therapist 

Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) - First Class Honours

Gabrielle is a passionate and enthusiastic therapist who graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) (Honours). She followed her passion into the NDIS community setting through her university placements working with children and adults with varying needs and disabilities. She has experience working with individuals with ASD, ADHD, global developmental delay and neurological conditions.

 

Gabrielle aims to empower individuals with disabilities through enhancing their independence, wellbeing and access in the community. She strives to work with clients, their carers and other stakeholders to provide sustainable and holistic therapy. She is also dedicated to taking up professional development opportunities to ensure that she is up to date with the current research to deliver best practice interventions.

Nathan| Occupational Therapist

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy/Masters of Teaching

Nathan is a graduate from Western Sydney University with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, he has an enthusiastic approach to providing in depth and personalised therapy in the community. Nathan has a background in education and utilises his Masters of Teaching degree to develop ongoing learning plans to support each individual in achieving their goals.

Nathan is a life-long local in the south western Sydney area, he brings his knowledge and experiences of living and working with a wide range of ages from paediatrics to elderly care in order to provide therapy in the local NDIS community.

Aleks| Personal Trainer/Exercise Scientist

Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science

Aleks is an accredited Exercise Sport Scientist, who completed his degree at Western Sydney University. Aleks has obtained an exceptional amount of knowledge and experience in the health and fitness industry. Throughout the 10 years of personal training and group training experience, Aleks has helped hundreds of individuals achieve their health and fitness goals. Aleks does not only guide you throughout the classes but also educates you on how to achieve your goals and live a healthier lifestyle, as he strongly believes the more knowledge you obtain, the easier your journey will be. Since broadening his focus in the disability sector, Aleks has delivered unique services to support individuals with weight loss management goals, mental health support and implementation of sensory integration needs including both vestibular and proprioceptive processing areas. Aleks provides a range of specialist fitness services including boxing, resistance training and works in a variety of environments including in the local community (park), homes and in-clinic.

John | Podiatrist 

Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine

John graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine at Western Sydney University. He is interested in all aspects of Podiatry however has a strong interest in the lower limb and how it functions through our everyday life. John has accumulated recurring sporting injuries from his participation in playing Soccer. His time spent on the side-lines ignited his passion for the diagnosis, treatment & prevention of acute and chronic lower limb injuries.

John enjoys providing general skin and nail treatment to his patients whilst getting to know them. He enjoys developing personalised treatment plans to suit each patient. He also has a passion for the utilisation of various adjunct therapies such as exercise prescription, prescription of orthotics, taping techniques, dry needling, padding and strapping & foot mobilisation and manipulation.

Lisa | Exercise Physiologist

Bachelor of Exercise Physiology

Lisa graduated with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology from UNSW in 2014. She holds a Mental Health First Aid and has extensive experience in hospital and in the community. Lisa has experience helping people who are elderly, have a disability, who are apparently healthy and people who have recently acquired an injury. She is enthusiastic in helping people in the community achieve optimal wellbeing. She enjoys providing a holistic approach in Exercise Physiology and addressing the biopsychosocial factors to exercise. Lisa has experience in hydrotherapy and land-based exercise prescription. She is able to communicate in Vietnamese and English.

Battoul| Occupational Therapy Assistant

Bachelor of Occupational Therapy

Battoul is currently studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at Western Sydney University. She has experience working in Paediatric therapy and education. She has experience working alongside Occupational Therapists and Psychologists for children from trauma backgrounds and neurocognitive disorders. Battoul's passion revolves around enabling individuals to discover purpose in their everyday life, empowering them to engage in activities that enhance their overall well-being. Battoul emphasises the importance of spiritual health, recognising its profound impact on individuals' holistic well-being. She is bilingual in Arabic and English.

Tiarne is currently studying a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at the University of Sydney. She has experience working in the NDIS community setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team. She is passionate about her studies and has adopted an enthusiastic approach to learning and development.  Tiarne’s passion is working to help individuals feel empowered in their everyday lives, by identifying their strengths and eliminating barriers that impact their participation in meaningful activities.
